 It is my great pleasure to welcome you to "The 49th Congress of Korean Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (KAOMS)". With the advent of 'well-being' of human life, we are facing an enormous demands for less invasive surgery. In this regards, it is timely that we organize this congress of KAOMS focusing on the subject of "Minimally invasive surgery". Throughout the congress, it will be a time to introduce approaching way and give wide understanding about traumatology, implantoloy, oncology, cosmetic surgery and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. We are going to invite many distinguished speakers. I hope that all of you have a chance to acquaint with recent trend of "minimally invasive surgery" in oral and maxillofacial field and have an opportunity to share various opinions with them. In addition to the congress, we are going to open the international implant symposium, for the general practitioner. So we expect that this meeting would become a big festival to share the knowledge not only for oral and maxillofacial surgeons but also for general practitioners.
I feel greatly honored that "The 49th congress of KAOMS" is held in Chonnam National University. We expect that participants have an opportunity to experience the beauty of this artistic city, Gwang-ju and the kindness of Gwang-Ju citizens.
